JUNIOR ACADEMY
WHAT IS JUNIOR ACADEMY?
Junior Academy is a British International Centre division devoted to children from 3 to 13 years old.
The word “Academy” highlights the aim to make something more than a simple study of the language: the aim is to create a pragmatic reality and a school system with a long lasting didactic project. These features are in line with an International curriculum that accompanies the student in his/her study of the language in a very progressive way. This aim is also in line with the age and the linguistic level of the students.
British International Centre developed a unique education method for young learners. The AKTIVE (Acquiring Knowledge Through InnoVative English) Learning Method represents the result of years of experience in the field of teaching and in the didactic research for English language: it develops a first approach with the lanuage through dialogue, communication, experiences and emotions. It enhances the child’s expressive, creative, cognitive and socio-emotional abilities.
